CustomStickers.com review: durable vinyl stickers without the sticker shock

CustomStickers.com is the highest-scoring company in our original 15-provider sticker scorebook. That doesn’t mean it’s the right printer for every finish, every deadline or every design. It means that in our historical company evaluations, it delivered the best overall combination of quality, value, customer service and turnaround.

We’ve updated this review to combine the strongest material from our older scored evaluation with relevant current product and ordering information. The main reason to consider CustomStickers.com is still refreshingly simple: get a durable, well-made vinyl sticker at a sensible price without turning the ordering process into a project of its own.

Disclosure and evidence: StickerReviews has a material commercial affiliation with CustomStickers.com, as well as a commercial relationship with YouStickers.com. This is not an arms-length, wholly independent recommendation. The numerical ratings below are historical company-level scores from our purchased-product evaluation records; the surviving workbook includes scores and editorial notes but not the original individual receipts, exact SKUs, photographs or test dates. We have not placed a new matched October 2026 test order for this update. Manufacturer specifications and current policies are identified separately from observed scoring. Readers should weigh the relationship alongside the reasoning and alternatives.

Our CustomStickers.com rating: 4.7/5

CategoryOur historical scoreWhat stood out

Price and value5/5Strong value on common sizes and quantities
Options and finishes4/5Strong everyday range, though not the widest specialty selection
Customer service5/5Helpful support and proofing assistance in our historical notes
Turnaround4.5/5Quick, generally predictable standard-sticker production
Overall, equally weighted4.7/5Our highest historical company rating

The 4.7/5 rating is the arithmetic mean of the five company categories. It is not a separate 4.7/5 laboratory rating for water resistance, individual holographic products, sticker sheets or roll labels. Those products have different material and production considerations.

Print quality and durability: The biggest reason to choose them

Our historical rating for quality is 5/5. The source notes emphasize high print quality, laminated materials, strong durability and well-finished stickers. When someone wants a general-purpose die-cut vinyl sticker for a laptop, bottle, case or giveaway, that product-focused approach is exactly what we like.

CustomStickers.com’s current vinyl product page describes full-color printing on premium vinyl with a protective laminate, and the company advertises water resistance, resistance to scratching and sunlight, and an outdoor lifespan of five years or longer under appropriate conditions.

We would not turn that five-year claim into a personally witnessed five-year exposure test. The preserved scorebook contains aggregate quality observations, not a dated outdoor-aging log or dishwasher-cycle test for a named batch. Construction and manufacturer specifications support asking the right questions; they don’t replace long-term physical records.

Print results still depend on the artwork. Fine lines, tiny type, difficult color targets and intricate cutouts need more care than a bold, simple logo. Use the proof to inspect borders and cutline placement, and submit a sufficiently high-resolution original when possible. The site’s own guidance recommends around 300 ppi for submitted artwork.

Price and value: Our strongest category score

CustomStickers.com earned 5/5 for price in the historical comparison. Our original notes specifically praised its pricing on common sizes and quantities relative to the quality delivered.

Today, the seller offers a Best Price Guarantee under which customers can submit a publicly listed competing quote for a comparable product. The company says the match considers the same material, finished size and quantity, and accounts for the competitor’s shipped price. That is a published company policy, not an independent claim that every possible CustomStickers checkout is already the lowest.

The website also lists free economy shipping on qualifying U.S. orders over $35. Faster shipping options may cost more. For comparison shopping, check the total for the actual product, quantity, finish, artwork setup and destination—not just the price displayed beside a default-size sticker.

One useful operational detail: on standard custom-sticker orders, the first two artwork designs are included, with a $3 setup charge for each additional design according to the company’s FAQ. Promotional products can have tighter design-count limits. That’s worth knowing when a small business wants ten variations of the same logo spread across one order.

Products and options: A solid catalog with a practical focus

Our score for options and finishes is 4/5, not a perfect five. The historical notes portray CustomStickers.com as a strong general-purpose specialist rather than a company devoted to every exotic film and adhesive combination.

Its current range includes custom die-cut vinyl, holographic stickers, clear stickers, specialty styles, kiss-cut sticker sheets, larger decals, labels and transfer-oriented products. Standard custom vinyl is available with matte or gloss finishes. Individual product eligibility matters: do not assume the same finish, construction or minimum applies everywhere in the store.

Two examples show why that distinction matters:

  • Sticker sheets: These place several kiss-cut designs on a shared backing. They make sense for illustration sets, promotional bundles and planner stickers, but layout, spacing and proofing need more attention than a single die-cut design. Our sticker-sheet guide explains the tradeoffs.
  • Holographic stickers: The reflective film affects apparent color. The default setup may leave white areas unprinted so the holographic effect shows through; opaque white ink requires an explicit request and may involve a custom quote. A standard vinyl quality score should not be copied over as a separate holographic test rating. See our holographic-company comparison.

For the widest possible menu of specialty materials or designer effects, StickerApp remains worth considering: we gave it 5/5 for options and finishes, even though it scored just 3/5 for general print quality in our historical evaluation.

Proofing and ordering: Good controls, but watch your email

The basic process is straightforward: choose the size and quantity, upload artwork, review the proposed cutline and layout, request changes as needed, and authorize production. The company advertises free digital proofs and unlimited revisions on applicable products. Our historical notes gave customer service 5/5, and proofing support is a meaningful part of that picture.

There’s a catch worth stating plainly: the company’s support pages do not describe the proof auto-approval deadline consistently. Its FAQ mentions automatic printing after two business days in one section and automatic approval after three days in another; some product listings also reference three days. That means the safe instruction is not to rely on a single number copied from a review.

Another nuance: some rush or special orders may have a different proof workflow, and choosing to skip a proof reduces your chance to catch a sizing or layout problem before printing. If your event date is tight, confirm both the production plan and the approval requirements before paying.

Turnaround and shipping: Quick standard work, different rules for labels

We rated turnaround 4.5/5 in the historical scorebook. The company currently describes typical processing for standard stickers as roughly two to four business days, with some orders moving faster and others taking longer depending on the product, proofing and workload.

Processing is not the same as shipping transit. The actual arrival date depends on when the proof is completed, the selected carrier method, weekends and the delivery address. The company offers faster delivery options, but their eligibility and whether proofing is shortened should be confirmed for your exact order.

Roll labels are not the same production job as die-cut vinyl stickers. They can have quantity minimums, additional production days and separate shipment timing. A customer ordering both formats should not assume that everything ships together just because it went through one checkout.

We’d rather see a supplier communicate these differences up front than promise the same unrealistic turnaround for every material.

Customer service and the satisfaction guarantee

The fifth major reason for the high overall score is 5/5 customer service in our historical evaluation. The saved notes describe responsive, useful support, especially when someone needs help with art, proofing or a corrected order.

The company’s Satisfaction Guarantee and FAQ describe replacement or resolution for genuine problems such as printing at the wrong size, supplying an incorrect quantity, or stickers that fail to match an approved proof. Because the product is custom-made, change-of-mind returns are different from defective-order claims.

In practice, photograph the problem, retain the order details and proof, and contact support promptly. The guarantee is a valuable promise, but we wouldn’t present it as unlimited returns for any reason or assume that it covers an artwork issue the customer expressly approved.

What we like—and what we’d change

What works particularly well

  • High-scoring standard vinyl quality: 5/5 in our historical company evaluation.
  • Very strong value: 5/5 for price, plus a published comparison-based price-match policy.
  • Human proofing and support: Useful for cut paths, multiple designs and artwork changes.
  • Fast everyday turnaround: 4.5/5 historically, with expedited options for eligible jobs.
  • A practical core catalog: Die-cut stickers, sheets, clear, holographic, labels and other specialty options.

Where we’d be more careful

  • StickerApp and some competitors have a broader specialty-material playground.
  • Proof auto-approval wording is inconsistent across the website; obtain the order-specific deadline.
  • Roll labels and specialty products may have different minimums and lead times.
  • White-ink handling on clear or holographic stocks should be explicitly confirmed.
  • Our historical aggregate score does not provide physical test results for every individual product type.
  • StickerReviews’ commercial affiliation is a real conflict readers should weigh. Our recommendation is favorable, but it is not independent of that relationship.

How it compares with other printers

PrinterHistorical overallMain reason to consider it
CustomStickers.com4.7/5Quality, price, service and straightforward laminated vinyl
YouStickers.com4.6/5Close alternative; shares a production background with CustomStickers.com
StickerApp4.1/5More unusual materials and effects
MakeStickers3.9/5Small orders, simple workflow and solid speed
Sticker Mule3.7/5Excellent general vinyl quality, weaker price rating

We would not claim that CustomStickers.com must win every product category. A highly specialized holographic finish or unusual adhesive may be better served by another shop. Our affiliated relationship with CustomStickers.com and YouStickers.com also means readers should seek a matched quote, understand product fit and weigh our disclosure rather than taking the numeric ranking on faith.

Frequently asked questions

CustomStickers.com Review FAQ

Is CustomStickers.com a good sticker company?

It has our highest historical overall company rating, 4.7/5, including 5/5 for quality, price and service. The assessment comes with a material commercial affiliation, disclosed prominently, and does not equal product-specific scores for every finish.

Are CustomStickers.com stickers waterproof?

Its standard vinyl stickers are marketed with a protective laminate and water-resistant, weather-resistant performance. The company also advertises long outdoor life. Those are product claims; our preserved company scorebook does not document a five-year exposure test or dishwasher-cycle test.

Does CustomStickers.com send proofs?

Yes, on applicable orders it offers free digital proofs and revisions. Check the exact order’s approval and auto-approval terms: its site currently contains conflicting two-business-day and three-day descriptions. Confirm a production hold if explicit sign-off is important.

How long does a CustomStickers.com order take?

The company generally describes standard custom-sticker processing as about two to four business days, with possible variation for proof changes and specialty formats. Carrier transit comes afterward. Use the cart’s actual shipping choice and confirm any deadline with support.
